In our day and age, it is almost impossible to drive from pointA to pointB without passing (or stopping) at a McDonalds, KFC or Hungry Jacks fast food outlet. And with the growing number of 'healthy choices' on the menus, how exactly can we determine what is really healthy and what is not. This Take Away Smart section has been developed not to encourage eating fast food, but to lay down the health facts plain and simple, compare each food outlet to each other and offer advice on what is best to eat when you can't avoid the golden arches.

LEAN BEEF BURGER: With less than 9 grams of fat per serving, our juicy Lean Beef Burger is made with onions, tomato, a reduced fat cheese slice, crispy salad leaves and ketchup on a regular bun. 65 per cent less fat per serve than our Big Mac.
